Review: Brother PED Basic Software

I recently purchased the Brother PED basic software for my wife, and while it has some great features, there are also some drawbacks. The light on the machine is a bit dimmer than I would like, but overall it's a decent quality product.

One thing that concerned me was the fragility of the plastic parts, particularly the spool posts and thread cassette. However, Brother does provide an attachment that allows you to use larger spools of thread, which is a nice touch.

In terms of performance, the machine is easy to load and sews very quietly and smoothly compared to my older machines. I was pleased with how quickly it stitched, and the variety of stitch types available is impressive.

On the other hand, I'm not thrilled with the bobbin winder mechanism, which appears to be prone to breaking if not handled carefully. It's also a bit tricky to access the replacement tire, which can be frustrating.

Overall, while this machine has some nice features and performs well, it's definitely not without its flaws. If you're considering purchasing one of these models, I would recommend asking the seller about the condition of the bobbin winder mechanism before making a purchase.
